Finally, it's here-- an original watercolor by Lak'weh of our favorite friend Sprucey!
 
If you have joined in her Tiktok lives, you may have met Sprucey-- a 100+ foot tall Norway Spruce tree who talks to her, gives her medicine (resin, spruce tips, pollen, and more), and presides over her yard as an ancestral tree spirit, guardian, and kindly being full of love for the world. 
 
Sprucey has connected with many & opened their eyes to the world of Pines, Spruces, and Fir trees-- each magical & miraculous trees with their own signature energy & medicine, but most commonly known for their delicious medicines such as their teas & beautiful aromatic fragrances of the resins they produce which emit a powerful, spiritual incense when applied to heat. 
 
In fact, it's been these resins which have helped Lak'weh to clean her energy deeply in times of need, inhaling the citrus-spruce aromas that take her back in ancestral memory & help clear her mind, connect her to the heavens, and the incense which calls out like a waving arm to the Creator saying, I'm here, I'm praying, look at me, I want to communicate with you!
 
In fact, these resins have been so important to her spiritual practice that she collects it regularly (when Sprucey allows) and uses it for rituals & ceremonies involving traveling deep within-- it provides a warm blanket of energetic protection, and calls on the ancestors whose hearts are good, and also offers a bridge to the magical plant world that expands consciousness & provides a staircase to deeper levels of surrender.
 
Sprucey has been a source of inspiration for many as well as a powerful gate of remembrance as those who meet Sprucey through these live videos discover their own potent connections with Trees who call to them using their gorgeous strong needles, cleansing resins, and more that they produce & share with the world's people. 
 
So, without further ado, Lak'weh painted an homage to Sprucey the way she sees them-- covered in spiritual eyes, vibrantly colored, and entirely alive, awake, aware, and full of wisdom & conscious intelligence to share with all who seek Sprucey's help. 
 
This portrait is not just a painting for Sprucey but rather it depicts all of the Spruces, Pines, and Fir trees around the world which we can connect to, use their medicine, and learn from, as we sit under these trees of wisdom & allow their kindness, love, and sincerity to bless us. 
 
Thank you to all of our Spruce trees & relatives who take care of us. This world surely would not be the same without us.
