Synesthesia: Spiritual Gift of Sonar, Healing, and Spiritual Feelers

Something I was gifted with is called synesthesia, which is medically described as having "crossed wires" in the brain where someone may smell colors, taste numbers, and have visions and see shapes and colors when they eat or interact with something that would normally not bring that response to a "regular" person.
Not many people have it, but many describe it similarly. They feel like Wednesday is vibrant purple and feels like the song Shake It Off by Taylor Swift, or that the number 4 is yellow and confident. I'm pulling those examples from nowhere, but that's how people have described it to me and I may have seen it when I was very young.
Synesthesia, I feel, is enormously misunderstood, as it has absolutely enormous potential and I believe it to be a spiritual gift.
Synesthesia may come through in the ways it has to me: I have a difficult time picking out individual spices and herbs in food I eat if nobody tells me what it is, but I can lead myself to feeling into what it is because I will see it as shapes and colors: the shapes and colors that most resonate with me offer me data about the alignment of what I'm eating, and also might connect me to thyme and lemon and cayenne pepper.
I can describe things that I don't like tasting as having dark, murky colors. I might not realize they are overly salty, but I can figure it out because I will have a vision of a spiky ball filled with broken glass.
Eventually, I came to see many labels for what I eat and drink: Carbonation tastes like a vision of a clear quartz crystal with many sharp edges, rosemary tastes like a red pyramid hovering over a blue sphere, and cilantro tastes like a long green rectangular prism.
This is all useful as I had to learn what things taste like, or rather, what they look like, in order to eventually understand what they actually are, but it also has an enormous amount of application outside of being an interesting culinary experience.
Synesthesia, as well, is applied to my life in a way I feel to be extended into sonar, in a sense.
When I sit for a channel, I can tell where energies are in a room, in someone's body, or in myself, based on how I can sense that sound bounces off of energy, which will return to me with sensations of mirroring that density, tasting, smelling, and feeling physical touch on my body.
People are often shocked when I tell them that I could feel, as if I had energetic antennae passing through their body, that their left kidney is ill, or their right shoulder is locked up, or they have acid reflux, even when I am sitting in a reading 7,000 miles away from them.
It is due to the way that synesthesia allows me to understand energy in a very unusual way that I can sense that density when I am attuned to Creator's light.
When I am channeling high frequencies, and I am speaking or singing them, they will pass through that person's energy based on where my focus is (because time and distance are matrix-based concepts, they're not applicable here when in direct interaction with another being no matter the physical distance), and then I will be able to feel where they bounce off, like the left kidney that is full of dense energy, or the right shoulder that won't let it pass through.
Often times, during channeling, I find myself making small clicks and whistles, or snapping my fingers as I speak, as this is another key that sends out light energy to help me feel out a full picture of an energy in question.
In addition, energy coming through in visually, audibly, or through taste and smell holds valuable information as well.
I remember sitting in a reading last year when before I began with the client, I recognized that I distinctly smelled cancer. I didn't know why or how, and I was feeling that the client didn't have cancer but rather was carrying that energy from someone else, as if I dove into this smell (it is literally impossible to describe so I won't try), it felt like a little haze hovering around her hands.
I forgot about telling the client about this (because so many messages came through that I simply didn't have time to get to it yet), when she said, "A couple hours before our reading, I went to my friend's house to do reiki on her as she has cancer"
Synesthesia will also share with me how someone's energy expresses itself to me when I smell cigarettes during a reading (often indicating, obviously, the presence of a smoker, or, it can indicate in a deeper way that there is an energy relating to carelessness, addiction, confusion, and utilizing master plant teachers in an unhealthy way.
Synesthesia also comes through when translating light language: I can listen to or speak light language and understand what is being spoken by the visions, sounds, tastes, and smells that come to and through me.
I also occasionally choose to channel light language onto paper before readings if it wants to come through: it usually looks like some psychedelic "random" collaboration of eyes, feathers, body parts, animals, and wavy ethereal shapes.
To most people it looks like childish gibberish, but if I tune in energetically (with my "synesthesia") I will find that it tells a story, follows along a direction of energy (i.e. Grandpa told Dad he was worthless, Dad told this to daughter when she was 7, Daughter experienced pain in her heart, daughter developed heart arrythmia at age 8, Daughter stopped taking heart medication and found a number of problems popping up in her lungs due to that energy being unhealed and spreading), which will give me large amounts of data about the situation at hand.
I also find that "synesthesia" to be a key factor in the visual experience of an Ayahuasca ceremony, and also in the Icaro patterns that many Shipibo women weave and embroider.
In the same way I draw eyes and wings and flowers and snakes in many undulating and spiraling patterns, a Shipibo person attuned to icaros may follow along the seemingly randomized psychedelic patterns and read or sing the message that is inscribed in that pattern.
I am sure that pretty much every indigenous culture is already deeply tapped into this gift and has many applications for it, but many of us Westerners are so out of touch with our numerous and sacred gifts, that I like to come from a perspective where we can slowly ease back into our nature as spiritual beings.
Synesthesia is not just a random fun crossing of wires in the brain, but when approached with an open mind and by someone eager to experience uncovering the mystery of this spiritual gift, it can be immensely useful.
Thank you.
