New Moon in Cancer, Rituals, Death, Rebirth, and Manifestation (a Guide)

Go clean up and organize your altar/sacred space right now!

This New Moon in Cancer energy is POTENT right now and the prime time for you to metaphorically clean out the junk drawers in your energy.

If you don't have an altar or sacred space, tonight is the best night to make one.

Dedicate an old blanket as a meditation rug. Take a pillow you don't need for sitting on while you pray.

Gather up a few leaves from your favorite tree (ask permission and leave tobacco) and place them on a designated placemat, cloth, or small rug that's clean and freshly smudged. Get it together to start the foundation of your new altar practice.

Every week or so I find I use my altar so much and I literally have so much in my altar that it can get disorganized quickly. I do my best to keep it neat but since I've been working with so many medicines and tools lately it became a bit of a jumble!

(And yes that's not even half of it. The rest of my altar is on the shelves above and below and scattered about the room because it just doesn't fit on one shelf)

To invoke this New Moon energy I sat for a live video of releasing and manifesting that fellow medium and intuitive teacher Amara Joy guided that literally brought in the deepest ecstatic and releasing energies.

I love releasing and manifesting rituals but I find them to be 1000x more potent when another dedicated, experienced practitioner guides me.

Her energy brought in sizzling flames to burn away resistance, and a beautiful wave of peace and stillness as we accepted and welcomed in our manifestations.

During which session I felt called to burn Sweetgrass and Osha (Bear Root) because, you know, I love to add to the collective vortex we were in and my Bear always appreciates me appreciating her

Afterwards I immediately disassembled my altar, shook out my altar cloth, dusted, and then carefully placed everything mindfully where it felt it needed to be.

After that, I sat with my flute (lovingly made by a edear flutemaker friend in Peru) and played to the altar to cleanse and clarify the energy further, and felt a song from the Scorpion come through strongly.

I had never sat with Scorpion Spagyric in my life yet, but it was gifted to me by another dear medicine friend, and it was calling out to me.

I sat in prayer and put a few drops under my tongue, and then immediately experienced a sudden surge of transformation/death energy and felt myself go dizzy and lose my breath for a second.

Why? Because it burned like hot coals and I felt my salivary glands compress, and I was shocked by the way that pain and numbness spread through my mouth quickly...I was absolutely not expecting that

(By the way, Scorpion Spagyric is made with entire scorpions, but it is impossible to be harmed by it I.e. I was not getting poisoned, I merely had a strong energetic effect from the medicine)

After I centered and sank into the energy, I felt what was like centuries of anxiety releasing from inside of my joints.

I then placed half a drop onto my belly (for sacral chakra/solar plexus healing) and also rubbed half a drop onto my third eye.

I literally feel like my third eye is energetically a balloon right now....visions off the charts.

And all from a completely non-entheogenic day. Well, entheogenic energetically, but that's just how I roll!

I've never purged from my joints like this before, but I felt like cooked spaghetti in the most serious way.

THAT is a release.
